I had an excellent experience with Adem at 817Auto and wanted to share this for anyone considering ambient interior lighting work. I came into this pretty cautious because of a bad experience with a previous vendor, A&O Lighting Cosmetics. That vendor had specifically promised a clean install with no visible wires, but that didn’t happen at all there were wires showing at the door hinges and center console, and the work looked very unprofessional. It honestly felt like they were just stuffing cheap parts into the car and using shortcuts like glue, which ended up damaging parts of my interior. Adem was the complete opposite from the start. He really took the time to listen to my concerns and didn’t brush anything off. What stood out most was how he actually walked me through his process he showed me videos of his work and even provided written assurance about how the installation would be done. The install itself took about 6 hours, exactly as he estimated, and he finished right on time. The quality of the work is on a completely different level. I usually don't leave reviews, but after two disappointing Body Shop experiences in Dallas, Adam's shop is the only place I trust for anything car-related. He is very honest, down-to-earth, and charges very fair prices. I took in my 2022 Mustang GT for ambient lighting, carbon fiber steering wheel, and spoiler installation. He did a great job and finished everything under 3 hours. I will be coming back in the future for more mods to my Mustang.

Where should I start, i’m throughly impressed with the work that was completed on my sons truck, this man is a one of a kind, quoted me a very fair price and had my sons truck looking better than when we first got it! This young man is very well spoken, his manners are unmatched his ability to express his work to my son who isn’t all into cars was incredible, He let my son know what was going to be done as well as updating me on the progress. His page doesn’t do justice, the work speaks for itself in person, shoutout to this brilliant and talented young man.

Seemed like a chill and professional guy during the installation process until things went south. Came in for a factory style Ambient Lighting kit that was supposed to be done the same day, ended up having to wait for another day to pick up my car due to a "faulty control module" that needed him to contact his supplier to figure out. Originally when setting up the installation I was also told that the kit would include a lifetime warranty. After driving an hour across the city to pick up my car I noticed that the kit he installed was of pretty bad quality as well. The cup holders that were installed were seemingly damaged because you can literally see the individual light bulbs when normally it would only be a smooth glow. A small dash strip installed were also partially nonfunctional. My kit was also supposed to be wired to the OEM like factory and have a 2 Zone Lighting Function, however I am now stuck to only having 1 zone connected through bluetooth. I tried to contact Adem about these issues just to get almost completely ghosted. I would get my kit installed elsewhere had I known how little post-installation support I would get. Very disappointed.

If you're located in the Dfw area I definitely recommend 817auto. He's literally the best I recently got into a major wreck and cause me not able to turn my car to the right nor use my right head light he repaired my head light, fender, and bumper it looks brand new again it only took him two days to fix my car I would definitely recommend him to fix your car.
